Erubiel Durazo made sure the California fans enjoyed themselves. He doubled scoring a run in the 2nd inning, popped a two-run clout over the fence (his 19th of the season) in the 6th inning and slapped a one-base hit in the 8th inning. Livan Hernandez(16-7) was helped out by Mendoza who pitched a perfect ninth and recorded his 1st save. Jon Garland(11-9) ended up with the loss. 'I always am most impressed when a pitcher finds a way to win even without his best stuff,' Alan Dyche said after the game. 'Hernandez did not have command of his pitches most of the afternoon, but he proved he really knew how to pitch!'
